Rebel Custom High Powered Sniper Rifle

When defectors from the BlasTech engineering and construction divisions switched to the Rebel side, they were put immeaditely to work, building the RCHPSR. The weapon is so expensive that usually only the most important personnel in the Special Forces are issued these weapons. The SpecForc Rifle (as it is usually called) is made of the most durable material available to the Rebels, and all the components are of the finest quality. No one rifle is exactly the same, as the weapons are hand crafted by each BlasTech defector. The rifle is extremely small for the amount of power it pumps out, and the burst option is almost unheard of on a rifle it's size. There is a very advanced targeting system attached to the top of the rifle. The scope houses a thermal imaging system, a limited targeting computer, and the rest of the best from BlasTech. Also, the power input is constructed so that with minor adjustment any type or size power pack can be hooked in.

Game Notes: When you target through the scope for one turn before you shoot, you recieve a 1D+2 increase to your blaster skill. When you fire the 3 shot burst you increase the difficulty by +4, when you use the 6 shot burst increase the difficulty by +8.

The BlasTec DL-30 is one of the more popular models around, and one of the hardest to find. It is no less powerful than the DL-18 or Merr-Sonn M-44, but it is smaller. The powercell port has been moved into the butt of the pistol, and fitted with a barrel a little shorter than that of the M-44, giving it a very short overall length. This has made it popular with individuals who carry a concealed sidearm, including CorSec, the Sector Rangers and many bounty hunters. It is also one of the more common sidearms issued to Stormtroopers, and is standerd issue to Imperial Intellignece's Internal Security and Counterintelligence Branches.

Note From Me: I issued this one to my brother because he researched about a small but powerful blaster pistol that his squad could use when they needed a back-up on a mission. He chose this.

The Whistler was also designed by the BlasTech engineer's. The long narrow body of the grenade is good for grabbing onto and throwing. At each end there is an explosive detonator that explodes after impact. The normal rules in grenades apply except that the grenade blows out in all directions except that of which it was thrown from.



Wrap Cord

The wrap cord was designed by a member of my brother's SpecForc squad, the wrap cord is thrown at a target and the electro-magnetic balls on each end of the cord seek to connect to one another, wrapping the person up. Once the electro-magnetic balls touch, the small power sell sends a jolting electricity bolt through the target. The wrap cords can be set to stun or kill powers. Even though the wrap cord is effective when it works, it sometimes doesn't work. It takes considerable practice to throw the cord so that the balls do not connect in mid air or before looping around the body, thus it take a roll of 20 or higher to throw the cord correctly.
